Whether you're exploring
the Christian faith or you've
been a Christian for a while,
we hope this website tells
you what you want to know
about St. Peter's.
St. Peter's is a community of faith, hope and love in the heart of the city, committed to live
by faith, to be known by love, and to be a voice of hope. We take seriously the preaching
of God's Word, the ministry of the Holy Spirit and demonstrating God's love for the community.
Imagine a local Church where children, young people, students and adults are helped to come to faith in Jesus Christ: where they are welcomed and loved, taught and trained; where they are confident in sharing their faith and clear about God's call on their lives; where they serve one another and their community, where all are involved in ministry and leaders are developed. Imagine all this happening through the ministry of God's Word and in the power of the Holy Spirit.
This is the vision we aspire to and by God's grace we are moving forward together on this journey!
Please come and check us out and whether you want to consider making St. Peter's your church or you simply want to visit, we assure you of a very warm welcome.

Sunday Services
There is a regular Sunday morning service at St. Peter's at 10.45am, and a monthly evening 'cafe' worship at 6.30pm.
The styles vary, with a mixture of more formal and contemporary worship styles.
Morning
At 10.45 we have a crèche and groups for children, who leave after being in the service for a while. On two Sundays each month we celebrate Holy Communion, and the children return to join us for the end part of the service.
Evening
Alpha Café takes place in church on the 2nd Sunday in the month, where coffee and cake is served, the worship is informal, and we enjoy speakers on a range of topics with discussion.
There are occasional evening services or events on other Sundays of the month - please check the
monthly diary page for more details.
Midweek Services
There is a simple communion service at 1.10pm each Tuesday lunchtime, lasting for half an hour an ideal opportunity to take enjoy some time for quiet and reflection in the midst of a busy day at work, or to take a break from shopping to come and pray.
